Rath Yatra celebration 2020 (રથયાત્રા ઉત્સવ 2020)

India is a country of festivals. Every festival is celebrated here with great fanfare. Because every festival celebrated binds every Indian to their rites. And this festival is the identity of Indian culture. One such festival is celebrated on the second day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashadh. This festival is the procession of Lord Jagannath. This Jagannath Bhagwan is dedicated to Shri Krishna incarnation of Vishnu. The Jagannath Yatra takes place in different parts of the country but the journey from the Jagannath Temple in Orissa is very sacred. This year i.e. in 2020 Jagannath Yatra will start from 23rd June and this Yatra will be completed on 4th July. This is the 143th chariot Yatra. Jagannath Bhagwan is accompanied by his sister Subhadra and elder brother Balbhadra in this Yatra. The journey starts from Jagannath temple to Gundicha temple which is two kilometers away.
