The World Health Organization (WHO) celebrates May 31 as World No Tobacco Day. The World Health Organization (WHO) starts celebrates this day on the 1987. Its purpose is to organize various programs to educate the people about the harmful effects of tobacco on the body. .People are inspired to quit smoking. The number of people addicted to tobacco in the world is not one or two crores but about one hundred (100) crores. And because of it about 3 million people die in the world every year. Why we celebrate world hypertension day??  Today, May 17 is celebrated as World Hypertension Day. This day is celebrated as World Hypertension Day by the Hyper Tension League in May 2005. The purpose of this celebration is to curb the life threatening effects of rising blood pressure in the people of the world and to spread awareness among the people. In addition to the seriousness of the epidemic, the World Hypertension League and the International Society have declared the entire month of May as Measurement Month.
